The Polished Concrete Retail Flooring Process: A Project Overview

Grip Tech Flooring removed all mobile racks/shelving and aisles to provide access to the entire floor for the crew to work. The prep consisted of performing the primary surface grind and removing all dust and debris with an automatic floor scrubber and water before allowing the area to dry.

Preparing the surface entails grinding and cleaning the concrete to remove any dirt, stains, or imperfections. The grinder uses a unique diamond impregnated pad system that progressively grinds the floor down to the desired level of shine.
